The Guide to WindowsXP Cosmetic Surgery with Royale Noir Color Scheme

I always liked the Royale theme from Media Center Editon of Windows XP. So, when I thought of about the appearance of my UberSlim edition - I really couldn't think of any other theme that would give it a corporate, polished, widely tested, compatible with non-patched UxTheme.dll look. But still - dont you think its too light for our project? We need Dark, a bit more Darker tone - so Royale Noir.

It's not a Discovery at least, its widely available & I'm using this theme for long time & thanks to "W3bbo".

But the problem was, to find out the matching LogonUI & MSGina to go with it. And last but not the least, the Boot Screen too.

1st of all I thought of making these modification myself then with a twist in mind & without any expectation I googled for it - Voila ! There It was on DeviantART, a guy aliased OddBasket had already made Custom Bitmaps for the Modified MSGina.dll. Thanks goes to OddBasket. The ShutdownUI is done with Resource Hacker's Wizardry!

So, I'm now to find LogonUI - I set my hope high & browsing through there in the Customization section of MSFN I came to know about ThemeXP site - & with little or No effort the necessary file is found with no need of any Tweak (But I'm thinking of changing the message strings a bit though - but no visual change). Thanks to AlexNL for this amazing English LogonUI Noir - saved my day (really, a custom no-glitch LogonUI is a real pain to make).

So, I'm now stuck with a Boot Screen to make in my hand - & I promise to make it myself cause it needs the custom UberSlim logo on it - ain't ?
